Works from 1943 include \u003cem\u003eLimburg II\u003c\/em\u003e and the gouache \u003cem\u003eLandweggetje in Zuid-Limburg\u003c\/em\u003e (Country Road in South Limburg). It is therefore quite possible that this hotel-café was also located in Limburg, although its exact location has not yet been established. Berserik was considered a member of the New Hague School.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBerserik often created cheerful and humorous scenes, sometimes with a touch of surrealism, but also made beautiful landscapes and still lifes.
