Dutch masters

A special experience, I can't call it anything else. I love art, in many forms and I try to convey that to my daughter. That always went quite well, but she is almost 12 now and you notice that a teenage brain doesn't always feel like wandering through museums with daddy. But this was different!

We discovered a kind of digital museum 2.0, a dazzling exhibition where images of the work of the Dutch masters are projected all around you in a special way. With beautiful music. My daughter was skeptical beforehand, didn't feel like it, an hour and a half in the car (and early!), she would rather go shopping. But it had been a long time since I had seen her so enthusiastic. Highly recommended. After the impressive great masters such as Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt and others, there was a brilliant encore by Piet Mondriaan.

I'm talking about Fabrique des Lumières, in Amsterdam, located in the Westergasfabriek. Highly recommended, for young and old. I know that the exhibition has been extended due to its success. Until when is unknown to me, but see here the website of Fabrique des Lumières for more information.
