Considering Selling an Artwork?
Are you considering selling a painting, sculpture, or other artwork? I am interested in distinctive works and invite you to get in touch without obligation. Kunstiek specialises in original and signed works by Dutch and Belgian artists from the 19th and 20th centuries.
In many cases, I purchase works directly. When consignment is more appropriate, I carefully manage the sale and position the work strategically within the market and among my network of collectors.
I buy and broker paintings, watercolours, drawings, prints, and bronze sculptures. For an initial assessment, I kindly ask you to provide clear photographs of the front and back of the work, including the signature, along with any available information about provenance and history.

Initial price indication
After reviewing the information, I will let you know whether the work falls within my area of interest. If so, you will receive an initial valuation. This is entirely without obligation and intended to give you insight into the possibilities.
Quality
I work selectively and assess each artwork based on the artist, quality, condition, and current market demand. The relevance of the work to my collection is also an important consideration.
Sell Directly or Through Consignment
If direct purchase is appropriate, we agree on clear terms and I acquire the work from you at a fair market price.
If consignment is more suitable, you remain the owner while I carefully guide the sale. Consignment can be the right option when a considered and strategic market approach is required to position the work properly and find the right buyer.
All agreements are recorded in a clear contract. Sales are handled on a no cure, no pay basis: commission is only charged upon successful sale.

If I am interested, I would be pleased to discuss the work with you personally. When we reach an agreement, we will arrange a viewing appointment.
All information is handled with discretion and care. If a work does not fall within my area of interest, I will explain this clearly and, if desired, advise you on alternative selling options.
