New Hague School | Paintings, Sculptures & Prints

The New Hague School is an art movement based in The Hague that emerged during the 1950s and 1960s. The movement developed around the artist groups Verve, the Posthoorn Group, and Fugare, and includes artists who were active in and around The Hague. Following the Second World War, it evolved as a distinct form of artistic renewal, deliberately positioned alongside the experimental Cobra movement.
