Felix van der Linden

Van der Linden received his education at the Academy in 's-Hertogenbosch as a pupil of Wim van de Plas and then at the Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, under the direction of Piet Esser. He continued his education at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where he was taught by the sculptors Luciano Minguzzi and Marino Marini (1958-1959). Van der Linden was best known for his bronze animal figures, he also made various medals. He was a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists, the Brabant Foundation for Visual Arts and Edelambacht and the Brabant Art Foundation.
He has worked as a medallist, draftsman and sculptor.
Van der Linden has made many works in public spaces, including in 's-Hertogenbosch, Amersfoort, Deurne, Bergen op Zoom, Eindhoven and Uden.
