Petrus Paulus Schiedges was a Dutch painter. He was a pupil at the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. He was born in The Hague but worked in various places in the Netherlands. He lived and worked in The Hague, Vreeland, Watergraafsmeer, Hilversum, Nigtevecht, Ede, Soest and finally Amersfoort.
His father was also a painter and was known for his paintings with marine subjects. Schiedges junior often painted and watercoloured landscapes, forests and waterscapes with animals or people in them. He was known for painting windmills on the water, and in his time he was an important figure within the Hague School.
