Yes, that is possible in Borne in Overijssel. You are most welkom and a cup of coffee is ready for you. However, only by appointment because our artwork is stored elsewhere.

How is the artwork shipped?

Shipping within the Netherlands registered and insured with PostNL.

I ship artwork internationally. My reliable courier partners, primarily DHL, are entrusted with shipping your artwork internationally. Occasionally, i may also utilize services from TNT or other similar providers.

A unique bronze sculpture "Portrait of a Girl" on a marble base, by Fons Bemelmans (b. 1938).

Signed with a monogram in the bronze: FB. Condition: excellent.

Over the years, Fons Bemelmans has presented his work at leading art fairs, in museums, and in public spaces.

His bronze sculptures were exhibited at TEFAF Maastricht and PAN Amsterdam, attracting the attention of both private collectors and museums. His work was also represented at international art fairs in Belgium and Germany.

In 2013, Museum Valkenburg dedicated a comprehensive retrospective to his oeuvre, bringing together over five decades of artistic work. His work has also been on display at Museum Beelden aan Zee (Scheveningen), Museum De Buitenplaats (Eelde), and various Limburg institutions dedicated to contemporary sculpture.
Besides his museum presentations, Bemelmans has created numerous sculptures for public spaces. His monumental works can be found in Maastricht, Venlo, Roermond, Heerlen, and Utrecht, Soest, Terneuzen, Zwolle among other locations.
